Get Your Game On!

Hello and welcome to my blog- "Renzie on Gaming". I've been playing video games since I was 7 or 8. The earliest gaming console I could remember playing on was one of my old classmate's Atari 2600s- which I was playing until I got introduced to an Apple computer in 1985, and then the PC in 1987.

While I've been mostly playing on the PC ever since, I have also been a fan of a few other gaming consoles- the Sega Genesis, the Nintendo Entertainment System, the PS1 and PS2, and the XBox. I have yet to get me a 360- give me a few months :)

Other preferences for recreation? I've been playing Dungeons and Dragons since the 6th grade (those were 2nd edition rules at the time), I had a lot of boardgames when I was a kid, and I got into Legends of the Five Rings CCG midway through college.

These days, I play a lot of World of Warcraft, collect Justice League and DC Direct Action Figures, and blog a lot about it- mainly right here.

Even if I slave away in the corporate world, I take time out to get me some gaming every so often- which usually means 'as much as I can'.

The Guild, Episode 3: "The Macro Problem"

Welcome to our continuing coverage of The Guild, my new online favorite, and winner of the Yahoo 2007 Best Web Series Award, the YouTube Best Series Award for 2007, and the ON Networks/SXSW Greenlight Award for Best Original Production.

In our last episode, after not being online for more than 36 hours, Zaboo finally shows up- at Cyd's doorstep! Zaboo seems to be bent on taking their online "relationship" to the next level, much to Cyd's ever-growing dismay. Oh, and after a very long bus ride, he also needs to "drop some kids off at the pool" :)

Also worth mentioning: kudos to Eric McKenney on those great character sketches, Joseph Limbaugh for the animation sequence (after Cyd's cold open), and to Don Schiff for the cute little musical score. You really put it together with this one, guys.
